How To Create A Video Using PowerPoint

Video marketing is on of the most lucrative ways to make money online if  you know how.  Many people want to use this form of marketing but they don’t feel comfortable being the star of their video. So unless you want to hire a professional spokes person or you know someone who will provide that service, the next best option is to use PowerPoint presentations and convert them to video format.

Some people believe that PowerPoint presentation videos are not as effective as those with people in them.  However, I use PowerPoint presentations exclusively and I have been able to pull lots of lead and I have a mentor who also uses PowerPoint presentations exclusively and he is very successful in his business.  So, if you would prefer not to be the star of your videos, then let PowerPoint star in them for you.

PowerPoint presentations are very easy to create. The program is straight forward and easy to pick up.  If you have never used it before, you can easily learn the basic functions from the help files within the program, or you can find free tutorials online.

Once you have created your presentation, you will then need to convert it to “*.avi” format or another video format that is compatible with the popular video sites. It’s important to note that you do not need a digital camera create these videos. It is totally done with software on your computer. There are many software programs that you can use to convert your presentations, most of them you will have to purchase. Some of them will let you download them for free but you can only use them a few times before you are required to purchase the software. The prices range from $25 to $300.   However, I was very excited when I found a free software that works perfectly for converting my PowerPoint presentations to *avi files.  The software that I refer to is called “CamStudio”.  You can download it at http://camstudio.org.

Camstudio does not come with a lot of features, however it is more than enough to convert basic PowerPoint presentations and best of all it’s free.
